I am actually using my money in a proper way. I paid all my taxes, put money in my roth and opened a high yield savings account. It feels really good to work towards a future and have more to show from all this then expensive bags and bullshit.
Question to the vets and/or retirees, what was an average night/week/month back in the day? What was a good/bad night? Was the industry better in your opinion? Have lapdances really been $20 since the 80s/90s? My clubs they are $40/50 thankfully and most everyone does 3 for $120+ but I know there’s still some clubs that will do $20/25 and that’s insane to me.
Everytime I take a real job I struggle to make ends meet only to find myself going back because I’m not spending enough time to be with my kid (single mom) not being able to enjoy the work because I am making not even enough to cover my bills I have no familial support, taking a regular job takes so much from me.
STOP ASKING YOUR FRIENDS IF THEY WANT TO THIRD WHEEL. I’m having the hardest time keeping friends with straight women from outside the club. I guess I’ve been spoiled at work because of how independent my coworkers are , they don’t need their boyfriend to hang out with people or do anything. UGH how do you all do it?!
I have this couple that comes in to see me every time I’m in town and they are always a guaranteed 6 dances but they don’t tip, and they stay at the club for like two-three hours. They have been my saving grace on a couple of nights, but how can I tell them that I would prefer if they came on the weekdays instead of the busy days so I can increase my chances of finding someone who will do a VIP room

Any plus size (190+) dancers that learned pole? I’ve been slowly rebuilding my upper body strength after being out of gymnastic work for about 3 years. I know pole will help but I’d like to be able to do basic holds until I have enough to try any actual skills.

Hi! I'm from Venezuela. I'm really curious to know how nightclubs work in other countries. Here, not all the girls dance; we all earn money when customers buy us drinks. We're in heels and lingerie/short dresses all night. Here, since prostitution is legal, the nightclubs have rooms to go up to and provide services.When I started working as a dancer, I was struck by how different it is from the movies in the USA. It's not always packed, and when you're dancing, it's rare to get a tip. People go there more to have sex or talk to the girls and buy them drinks than to watch the girls dance. Is it like that everywhere? In the capital, all the nightclubs are like that. (I've worked in like 5 nightclubs! 😆) ETA: There are no private dances either. 🥲 Some people do them, but in the VIP area, people usually go in for stronger drinks and more relaxed conversation. It's rare for a girl to do a paid lap dance (Although they do pay for dancing on the main pole). Here, being a stripper is directly associated with prostitution! I understand that it's different in the United States. I personally live by drinking like there's no tomorrow 😆 Because I hate going up to the room with the clients.

This is kinda rant/vent but also a question. I understand that tips don’t come for free and yall learned from good and bad nights so I respect if you don’t wanna respond lol….but😅 I guess I’m struggling getting dances in a timely manner? My niche is egirl/cosplayer and I cosplay at the club every few days out of the month. People seem to like how genuine I am, my cosplays, how I dance on stage (I do heels/ burlesque dancing) and how much “I love giving lap dances” (this is what I tell them to make them feel special) but I notice I talk ALOT and especially about myself and I wanna learn how to get to the point faster that I’m trying to get them to buy a dance with me and make them feel special/im into them at the same time and also get them to buy one lol. One girl made 1k and was three hours late while I only made like $400 and was there the whole time . I wanna do better!!! How do I get to the point faster and how do I prompt them to ask me for a dance rather than me asking them…I hate asking them sm bro😭
I'm choosing between two clubs at the moment and I can't get over how one of them's house fees are so high, 115 to work on any weekday...including like a Monday? Only night shift and then 160 for a weekend shift, I have to sell three fifty doller dances in order to make house.
I like to work a lot and I like weekday shifts where there's less competition and I have a chance to sell customers on my personality and longer quality over quantity bookings. But I can't justify paying 115 to work on a weekday when I have no idea how busy the clubs gonna be yknow?

I had a conflict at the club, and now I’m not sure what to do - they put me on inactive. When I was working, the manager wasn’t there because it was his day off. They unblocked me for one night, but then told me I need to talk to him. Now I’ve left the city, and I don’t know what to do. Should I call him on his work phone, or just come back and wait for a face-to-face meeting?
