Got banned from r/quitting7oh

I tried to provide information about SR-17018.

I created the r/sr17018 sub, and have a lot of knowledge to share. I fully believe that this compound is a miracle drug, and that the knowledge in r/sr17018 is saving lives, can’t believe that the mod of quitting7oh is banning people mentioning SR-17018. It’s absurd.

Last day with SR

Last SR dose was yesterday.

11 days off mgm.

3 days preloading with SR.

14 days total.

I didn’t expect much from SR, but it actually came through. Took the edge off more than I thought it would and made this whole thing a lot more manageable.

Glad I went that route.

Quit MGM with SR amazing

I am an intaker of Reddit info, but have never shared. Now I have something to share. I have been learning from Reddit info and ordered SR from a couple of vendors that are often mentioned. 50mg tablets. I was trying to figure out all these comfort meds and get it all figured out, but it got a bit confusing for me. I just started taking the SR and hoped for the best. I have been at 80-120 MGM a day. Here's how it's worked so far... Day 0 of starting SR in the afternoon (25mg Sr trying to figure it out) with 80mg mgm that day. Day 1=55mg mgm (got up to 100mg Sr by afternoon). Day 2=35mg mgm. Day 3=27mg mgm. Day 4=12mg mgm. Day 5 now=0mg. I could have taken even less mgm by day 3 but just used to taking it and trying to divorce it. Pretty quickly found that 100mg of SR was the trick for me. Have been taking 4 times a day. Maybe 5 day 1 because I took it early am to help sleep. Usually took SR with mgm, but sometimes without and now totally without. I can currently go at least 9 hours with nothing, probably longer but haven't tested. I will now begin taking less SR over the next few days. Only as needed. Overall this has been much easier than it should be. I hate withdrawal and am a wuss even with mild withdrawal. I have years of addiction and sobriety throughout my life. If unable to sleep, I was not uncomfortable. Slight tiredness a couple of days but also felt amazingly good (normal and rested feeling) most of the time. Praying this ends like it should. I am amazed and blessed at this option even for mgm. It started with the trickery at the gas station, but my fault. I know better.

For those hooked on 7stax…

I’m just making this post so I can no longer feel the need to reply to others’ posts regarding coming off of the 80mg 7stax tabs.

I got started with mgm15 by getting hooked on 7stax back in November. I promptly switched to buying from an online vendor for obvious reasons. The past couple of times I’ve ran out early, I’ve forked over the money for 7stax because I wanted to avoid withdrawal. Complete waste of money. A lot of people are wondering if 7stax even has mgm in them at all anymore. All I can say with confidence is they don’t have as much mgm15 as they did when I first started taking them. Since some people are still having withdrawals when they try to stop taking 7stax, I’d guess that there is still some in there, but definitely not very much.

I currently take 80mg mgm15 per dose. I can take 4 or 5 7stax tablets and still be in withdrawal.

Moral of the story:

  1. Stop spending so much money on this smoke shop bullshit. The flavor of these tabs alone is enough to make me puke.

  2. All of y’all hooked on 7stax are not in as deep as you think you are. If you are taking 160 mg/dose of 7stax, I’m sorry but you are not in the same boat as those of us buying our stuff online and taking smaller doses of what we know for certain is mgm15

I’m sorry, it just infuriates me seeing these people ruining their finances over products that contain little to no mgm15, coming on here complaining of “withdrawals”.

If you are struggling to get off 7OH/MGM, I have a friend who had started a group where you can check in and ask for support or any questions you want. It’s a group to help those struggling to get off, and help those off who are struggling with PAWS. Check it out if you want.❤️

Banner/Badge suggestion - Sub and Stax idea

To the @mods: any chance we could add Suboxone and Stax to banners? For those taking pure mgm (not a mix blend) there’s a big difference in quit methods and also many of us don’t have the subs option and have to scroll a ton to find true mgm (pure) taper and quit stories and further, to drill down to non sub methods. If anyone feels the same maybe hit “like” and this could be added? Not sure how to tag mods but I’ll check the flair in the next step. Just an idea I was thinking of to help us on 100% mgm and/or not interested in sub stories as much. Plus those using Stax and/or have Suboxone access usually have questions related to specifically that. Bless and good vibes to those on your quit journey (or reset/taper) good for you!!!!!!!!! Keep one foot in front of the other. Every second is. WIN and this group has got you!

Withdrawal Questions

I have been taking about 80 mgs a day for 2 weeks. I can usually go about 12 hours or more without withdrawal. I am curious how bad this is going to be. I have been through every kind of detox imaginable so unfortunately I am not a stranger to it. I have some suboxone, vit c, and NAD+.

I took the NAD+ when I was using Tia and I swear that stuff worked really well. I could go so long without feeling bad if I was taking it and it would kill the cravings. Tia half life is super short so about 4 hours and you would be sick but I could go through a day or 2 with NAD+. I haven’t tried it for withdrawal from 7, pseudo, or MGM but I figured it couldn’t hurt to give it a try. I was starting to feel bad about 20 mins ago and took some and I swear I already feel better.

I am more curious about how long to wait to dose the suboxone. I have heard and read so many different things. I heard the half life is long. I definitely do not want to go into pw. In about 2 hrs it will be 12 hrs since my last dose. I am thinking about holding off as long as possible but my problem is as soon as I feel a little stuffy nose or watery eyes I want to dose subs bc I get worried I am about to be really sick. I don’t want to do that and screw myself worse. I also only have about 4 strips so I have to make them last and can’t afford to waste them.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ibogaine?

Would ibogaine work for mgm-15? Tried SR but I’m back on mgm after transitioning to subs and realizing I got on 7 and eventually mgm to get off subs in the first place Lol so ibogaine is a last resort for me. SR works but it didn’t take all withdrawals away and after I stopped the SR it took days to feel normal even with mgm or subs on top of that. Stabilized on subs but then I couldn’t hep myself and I dosed mgm again, I have a little bit of pseudo ( under 100mg ) and 12-15 15-20mg 7oh tablets other then my mgm which I have 4-5 grams of. What should I do? I could theoretically take a sub tomorrow after a whole day of dosing mgm since the subs are already preventing the mgm from fully breaking through, thinking about getting back on mgm tomorrow full time and then utilizing ibogaine treatment as it’s the natural fix to all opioid dependency imo

First thing I do every day after waking up is cry

Man this stuff is brutal. I got started via 7stax nano tabs. Had no idea what was really inside. I knew they felt too good to be just MIT but kept taking them. Nobody put a gun to my head. Here we are a couple months later. Still taking at least one 5 pack a day. Some days two. Its killed my finances. My job has a "perk" where if we want we can get paid daily instead of weekly. So now pretty much I live day to day. Missing just 1 day of work would put me so far behind I wouldn't even be able to buy one 5 pack. I had a few online orders and was trying to go that route but wasn't able to sustain as I couldn't wait days for it to get shipped here.

I wake up at least an hour or two earlier than I want every morning. Prob WDs creeping in. Cry while I take a shower and then drive to smoke shop.

I need to taper, but its hard to do with my job as the work is somewhat physical and long hours.

“I’m on a really high dose and am scared to start tapering.”

Hey guys. I have been seeing more and more people trying to get off MGM-15. I have successfully hopped over to 7oh, after months of MGM use. I wanted to share some tips that could maybe help inspire some of you guys to start tapering.

First, while tapering, MGM is super forgiving. If you are taking 100-300mg+ of MGM daily, you should be able to cut that dose almost immediately in-half with minimal to zero discomfort. If you’re taking 60-80mg doses, drop it to 30/40mg, see how your body reacts. Most people are surprised how easy it is to drop your dose like this.

Second, when trying to quit, the length you are waiting between doses is really important. Try to go 10-12hours. Give your receptors a little break before re-dosing. If you have a few hours till your next dose and you can’t stop thinking about it, chug a bottle of water, play a video game, walk your dog. A lot of it is mental, if you can distract yourself (even for 20 minutes), that’s a little bit more time for your receptors to recover. It adds up and continues to get easier.

You are stronger than MGM. You can do this. Quitting is a BIG deal, and can be difficult. However, tapering can be a breeze if you do it right. Which makes quitting that much easier.

If your goal is to go from MGM —> 7oh (and then to Essar or MIT) - it is possible, you can do it. Plan when you are going to take your last MGM dose, you will need to have tapered down to ~20/30mg MGM daily (for about a week) before hopping over to 7oh in order to minimize WD. Take your last MGM dose before bed, when you wake up, wait as long as you can, let yourself go into some WD, and then take your 7oh. This is your opportunity to figure out how much 7oh you need to comfortably manage MGM wd. The longer you wait, the more 7oh will help.

And lastly, keep a physical journal. Keeping track and writing down each dose is essential for quitting and tapering. If you don’t have a scale and are trying to quit powder, buy one for $18 on amazon. You can’t quit powder by eyeballing doses.

Whether your plan is to quit kratom alkaloids all together, switch to 7oh, or just taper down, YOU GOT THIS! Take my word for it, it’s not as hard or daunting as it seems. MGM can be super forgiving while you are tapering, as long as you have a plan and stick to it, you’ll be alright.

TL/DR: While tapering, MGM can be really forgiving. You CAN taper down fast with minimal discomfort. This is your sign to start a taper if you have been putting it off.

What am I even WD from (7stax)

I know there is mgm in these and MIT. Last summer I was up to 500mg a day in my last two weeks of 7-oh. The last two days were way up there maybe even 1g a day. I hated the WD I hated I left state and my job and family. But I beat it I beat 7-oh. Well here I am taking this 7stax shit. I just got stressed and wanted a way out. It’s probably been a solid 2 months but I haven’t even been nearly as bad. So I took 30 80mg 7stax in 8 days. Tomorrow I’m out. What am I actually WD from. I was on subs while taking 7stax at first and realized I didn’t need them anymore. So it’s been at least a month and half without subs but I have plenty. I have GABA and clonodine(randomly) I have agmatine and I’ll buy VIT C. Prob buy MIT 2. But I’ve been so scared until now(still nervous don’t get me wrong) But I did the math is 70mg MGM a day that bad? Plus the 120mg MIT? All these meds should handle it right? I’m psyching myself out so bad. Help me understand anyone been thourgh this. I almost ordered online but I know that’s when the MG goes way way up

reddit.com

Made a wild realization this morning..

If I stick to my taper plan, I don’t ever have to buy mgm again. I have 3 grams and only need 650mg to fully taper off for about 4 weeks. I’m day 2 at 60mg a day(I’m feeling it but pushing) doing 5 days at this then same with 40mg then 20 then 10 then 5, might do like 7 or 10 days once I get to 20,10, and 5 but man I did the math too I was doing about 10 grams a month. If I’m at 10mg 3x a day I can last a year with 10 grams.. tempting tbr but I know I’d up my dose. But I don’t have to spend money on mgm ever again and come July 1st I won’t be able to anyway. Just is crazy was spending so much and this next check will be like 1700 bucks and ima buy like 4gs of SR maybe 3 and be off but may 20th

Warning to all users! Had to detox in the ICU due to Kidney Damage.

Hey yall. I was planning on quitting anyways but a situation came up where I had to cold turkey it. Anyways, I had only been using for like 3-4 weeks, the 7Stax and Hydroxi MitAs and last Friday I quit cold turkey due to a long story involving my work and people finding out about my use (I’m supposed to be on suboxone and have been clean off fentanyl for almost 6 months). Saturday and Sunday were complete hell and I ended up in the hospital Monday because I couldn’t keep any fluids down. Apparently it was enough MGM15 usage that I went into acute kidney failure and ended up having a seizure. I was throwing up green and red shit and could’ve died if they weren’t able to correct my kidney numbers. And it was for sure caused by the MGM15 usage because I’ve never had kidney damage before and am not prone to seizures. I just wanted to put out a warning out there to you all, obviously this is a subreddit for quitting it but just another good reason why to quit. I like to think of myself having a durable body that I’ve been able to put through a lot but not even a significant duration of time being addicted to fentanyl damaged my body the way that MGM15 has.

There is not enough information out there about how damaging this stuff is for your body because there is no FDA testing on it but let me be a testament to you all.

As for the withdrawal symptoms I waited almost a week and got back on my suboxone which has helped tremendously. So if you have the time and the resources, wait a couple of days to detox a bit and then use suboxone to help manage your withdrawal symptoms, because you will have withdrawal symptoms from this stuff that for me was as bad or worse than fentanyl withdraw. Feel free to DM or comment if you have any questions regarding the detox and quitting process.

Stay safe!

Day 6

After the last couple weeks this is the best I’ve felt. I’m basically back to baseline, but the fatigue is still lingering and probably will continue for a while. I can tell the subs have finally took over. In previous quits with other substances subs seemed to work much better, like with oxy, it replaced oxy almost immediately. MGM is a helluva strong opioid.

“God luck and Good Speed” to all of you.

Wanted to share my personal experience (xpost)

cross-posting this with the quitting 7oh sub FWIW...

Had to create a burner account for this (that's what I get for using my name for my OG reddit username)

Came here to share my ups and downs. I have been a steady kratom user for 4-5 years. Started with caps and powder, graduated to enhanced, then to opm and mit45 and finally to 7oh (with a little unadvertised EEEMGEEE in there f-u 7stx). I have quit black tar, ox-codo, opans, fetty (ahem, need a friend for fet branded as "east coast powder" about 8 years ago). This has been, hands down, the worst withdrawal I have ever faced. I detoxed off a very heavy tar and pill habit (among an assortment of substances) cold turkey inpatient with only comfort meds, and have done a few rapid sub detoxes.

This is long, but here's my experience. 7oh for about a year, secret/unknown emmgeee for 5ish months. Quit on 4/1 - 7 days of hell... dissassociation, endless restlessness and insomnia, crippling fatigue, pain, agony, and destroyed stomach. After 7 days, I had barely improved. The only comfort med I had was clonidine, and the "goggles did nothing." So I saw an addiction doctor and started a sub bridge. I had 14 8mg strips and stepped down each day (needed 3 strips the first few days). After 10 days, I jumped off the subs at 2mg (a little higher than I had hoped) on Saturday, 4/18. I stabilized and felt a semblance of normal on the subs, and then I have struggled all week. It's manageable, but a lot of disassociation and scrambled brain feelings on Tuesa and Weds, and difficult sleep. This dual agonist mu and delta stuff with the emgeeem is unreal. All this to say, I'm 24 days off all 7oh and similar product, and 7 days off subs, and see light at the end of the tunnel. I wanted to offer this to counter those who say it's easy, I mean, good for you, but this has been the most fucking difficult detox I've ever faced. Not stopping now, getting back into recovery and working to recover in all the ways.

Good luck, fellow travelers. (if you need to hear it - this sucks, embrace the suck, it does and will get better)
