


Still some burning/discomfort on back side of scrotum after ball gap increase
I’ve been self locking significantly more over the past 6-7 months, and it has significantly cut back on my masturbation habit. I used to masturbate at least once daily, but now I’ve only masturbated once in the last month and a half. I feel like this has greatly improved my mood, discipline, and overall quality of life. I’d like to increase my locked time to continue this journey of self-improvement.
I currently wear a Cobra N with a size 3 curved ring. I also recently did a DIY to increase the curve of the base ring (and therefore the ball gap) to help alleviate the burning and discomfort I felt on the back side of my scrotum. This helped greatly to alleviate much of this discomfort, but I still experience this sensation to a degree, particularly while I’m sitting. I typically apply aquafor twice per day to the underside of my scrotum. It helps but dos not eliminate the sensation. I sit frequently for work, so I likely need to come up with a solution.
I could do some more modifications to increase the ball gap more, but could the rounded shape of the base ring also be applying a pressure point on my scrotum? If so, would getting an XD curved ring help with this sensation? My thought process is that the ring would lay flatter against my skin.
Also, would going up or down a base ring size make sense? I’m able to get two fingers inside the base ring fairly easily (see pics).
My instinct is to maybe get an XD curved at 2 or 2.5 and then add additional curve to it for the ball gap by heating it up and bending it, but I also want to get this right.
