Went out for a nice adventure yesterday while cathed and it was lovely. Had to stop for a bag check. I already miss it! Hopefully I can go longer next time around!

Before I switched to the leg bag.

On Day 3 with this catheter. Gonna switch to a valve for work.

Night one with the catheter went smoothly. Slept ok and drained about 800ml of urine. Will switch back to the leg bag for the day.

Was a little hesitant to use a catheter again after a possible UTI last time. But was extra careful about using sterile practices. 18fr silicone.

Surprisingly quick and easy insertion. So far, fairly comfortable. The larger size fits my anatomy well, less irritating when I move, especially at the meatus.

A couple pictures so far. Inserted Thursday mid-morning, and so far so good. I hope to make it until at least Monday. So far it isn't too uncomfortable. The first night I didn't get too much sleep, I kept waking up afraid that something had come disconnected, or I rolled over and pulled the tubing a bit (I got some adhesive hold downs to use tonight instead of paper tape. Hopefully that fixes the pulling). The two biggest problems so far are when I get a hard-on during the night, the end of my dick runs up against the Y and it pulls and wakes me up. Otherwise the end of my dick keeps getting adhered on the tubing (the last picture), and again pulling as I move around during the day. I assume I should maybe add some lubricant to the end? Hopefully some one with more experience has already solved these problems lol
