I’m trying to figure out how to navigate something that’s been a bit of a block for me in the lifestyle.
I’ve realised I’m very non-verbal when it comes to anything sexual. I don’t enjoy talking about sex beforehand, and even in person I’m quite shy about it. I’m naturally more on the submissive side and much more comfortable just feeling the vibe and letting things unfold rather than discussing or planning.
I tell my husband to just enjoy upstairs and let someone approach us.
But I also understand the reality:
Boundaries, consent, and expectations are important especially with new peopleand skipping those conversations completely isn’t fair or safe.
So I feel a bit stuck between:
• not wanting to talk about sex at all (before or during)
• being quite shy/submissive in person
• but still wanting things to flow naturally and spontaneously
For others who are similar how do you make this work?
