Stimulant high is very ”flip floppy”
I don’t know if it’s just me, but stimulant highs usually are super ”flip floppy” for me. That shit sounds stupid but I mean like one moment you’re very stimulated mentally, euphoric, locked in, feeling good, whatever, and the next it turns into this empty feeling, cold, more physical stimulantion and you just realize you’re sucking your lips and your mouth is dry as shit. Then it flips back around again and keeps going like this until it eventually wears off. It doesn’t even depend on what you’re doing, like I could be very focused on something or doing nothing at all, and all of sudden it flips. It’s pretty similar for me on Vyvanse, methylphenidate, speed paste and even MDMA to a variable degree. I’ve heard people talking about this with MDMA, especially closer to the comedown but never with other stims. On stims other than MDMA it’s like going through different plateaus that don’t necessarily feel better, just different. I wouldn’t say it’s waves of sobriety because it randomly feels like you’re peaking again for me, but another kind of stimulation. Is it just me and am I tripping?
