24/7 DLs: What is your diaper change schedule?

I have been wearing diapers 24/7 as a way to feel more comfortable with them and to stop the binge purge cycle. I already have my own changing schedule, but I wanted to know yours, if you have one and feel okay sharing it here.

I spend most of my mornings studying, from about 8:30 to 14:30, so I usually do my first change of the day after waking up and taking off my night diaper, around 7:10. Then I change again when I get home from college at 14:30. After that, if the diaper is still holding up, I change it at 22:00, but if it feels too saturated, I change earlier, around 20:00.

Honestly terrified of getting a Foley catheter after reading about Fournier’s gangrene. Is it actually safe?

I want to be straightforward about what’s actually concerning me.

I’ve been thinking about using a Foley catheter to simulate urinary incontinence, but after reading about Fournier’s gangrene, it honestly scared me quite a bit. I understand it’s considered rare, but knowing that something that severe is even a possibility makes it hard to ignore.

What I’m trying to understand is how realistic that kind of risk actually is in a situation like this. Does Fournier’s gangrene mainly occur in people who already have serious medical issues, or is using a catheter on your own enough to put someone at risk of something that extreme?

I’m not looking for empty reassurance. I’d rather hear a realistic perspective on how dangerous this actually is and whether it’s simply a bad idea overall.
