Hello! I'm a 29 M currently living in the US Central time zone, but looking for something strictly online at the moment. In real life, I'm a grad student working on developing new robotic systems. Most of the time it's finding ways to do 10% more to make my week taste better, but I made a cassoulet from scratch for Christmas and it was definitely worth the 5+ hours in the kitchen! Other than that, I love hiking (when there are hills - I miss those 😭), ultimate frisbee, going for runs, and reading good books. I just recently finished Babel-17, and it's awesome! Language and space merge pretty well - they're just another avenue to explore the human experience. When it's too hot or too cold out, I've also got a deep and abiding love of strategy games and CRPGs, most recently Rogue Trader. The organ music is so good! I also got a dog a couple of months ago, so she's taking up a lot of my time in the best way possible. I'm happy to share dog pics upon request.
Physically, I'm ~6'1", reasonably fit, with a close-cropped beard, shorter hair, and blue/grey eyes. Think more runner than lifter, although I'm trying to be consistent in picking up heavy things to be more well rounded there. It's really easy to go out my front door and run, harder to convince myself to actually go to the gym. I'm currently loving the changing of the seasons when I go out, the bluster of the outdoors makes me really happy :D
