My low-libido (and actually gorgeous) wife only has a shred of drive about 4 days a month when her hormones take over a bit and literally give her no choice. Rest of the time she’s about as animated sexually and interested in sex as an ironing board. Literally ANYTHING interests her more than sex.
I happen to have a very high sex drive and need sex ideally 1x or 2x a day to feel good and at peace. Also for context, I am very youthful (most people think I’m in my early 40’s), in great shape (great muscle tone and 16% body fat), most ladies constantly comment on my handsomeness, have a great career and have contributed 99% of the household income for 25+ years, and happen to have a very well proportioned and eager 6 inches to work with. Needless to say, I am massively sexually frustrated not only by the mismatch at home but vi-a-vis what I could be getting elsewhere, and really distraught at the unfairness of it all.
Today is my birthday and what I got upon wake-up is the world's most PG hug in bed for barely 90 seconds, followed by a comment on how I’m actually a year older than we thought I was (for some reason we all had it our heads I was turning 54). To make matters worse, a couple of nights ago she asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I told her explicitly that she’s very well aware the only thing I actually want.
This is soul crushing to me. To add insult to injury, I have to put on a good face for the birthday calls and texts that are coming in when all I really want to do is either jump out the window or go find a woman who will actually desire me and demonstrate it.
This was the only place I felt I could share this so I guess getting it off my chest is my birthday present to me.
