I'm trying to numb my parts so I'm good and don't touch. I bought lidocaine spray, but it stings to go on and isn't really effective. has anyone had better results from numbing cream?

I've tried wiping down with rubbing alcohol, and I like it, but I've also heard that repeated use will cause permanent damage. is there anything that will hurt like hell, cause no permanent issues, and isn't needles or electricity?
