Excited for my very first meetup tomorrow. How do I involve hubby on the distance?

After a year of discussing this, we (I) have my very first vibe-check with a bull tomorrow. Although I have the blessing from hubby to take things further, I doubt I will on the first meeting.
Hubby wants me to be 100% present and not focus on texting updates or pictures constantly, and I like that, although I appreciate that the wait might be hard for him.
My question: From a bulls perspective, is there a good way to update/involve hubby that doesn’t leave awkward interruptions or removes focus? What would be your preferred way of communicating (or not communicating) with hubby on a first meeting, assuming it doesn’t lead to more that day and that you dont have a direct line of communication to the hubby as a bull?
