(A4GM) The Effects of War on the Mind and Body.

02/03/1856.

I had enlisted years ago, I was 18. My father died and my family needed a stable source of income. At first I had become a truck driver. Shipping supplies from base to base across whatever barren or coastal land I was ordered to. Sometimes it was in a convoy, other times I was alone with the sound of the rumbling wheels and rustling of food and munitions in my bed. I should've realised the tides were turning when the food became scarce and the ammo became plenty.

When the war started I was still shipping supplies around but it wasn't long before my convoy was attacked. Thankfully the tanks had done their jobs, defending us but my commanding officer died in that attack. Turns out he was the only thing keeping me away from being turned out from my non-combat role. The day after his death I recieved my new orders, sharpshooter training, plus I was selected out of many to participate in a top secret program. I wasn't sure what it was, as they hadn't explained it in my orders, probably because it was top secret. Duh.

I was shipped out soon after that to my new training camp. I was nervous for obvious reasons but what choice did I have? We were at war and the cost of disobeying orders amounted to treason and summary of execution. I excelled in my sharpshooter training, handling the clunky bolt action rifle in my arms like I had it my entire life, but then came the program. I wasn't told anything, just to take these pills, recieve these injections from the doctors I could only refer to as 'Corpsmen'. I didn't understand any of it but I did as I was told. In a week I was vomiting, two I was unable to sleep. After a month my entire body was shaking, my accuracy plummeted with my rifle but the Corpsmen told my officers that it would go away. It did, but something else replaced it. My entire body felt wrong. My head swam and before I knew what was happening I was on a rack in the med building. The Corpsmen took a sample of my blood and from what I saw, examined my DNA, thats when I saw celebrations. They were celebrating. Whatever they did to me, it worked. All the while I struggled to understand the new feelings in my body, my body felt as though it were clay, fluid and moldable.

Today, the Corpsmen finally explained what they were doing, what they were testing. They explained they were changing my DNA to make me some form of super soldier. I was the first to survive the process. They wanted to run some tests to see what I was capable of, from what they explained I should have binocular vision, speed and strength beyond the average soldier, able to process information faster, but it came with a major side effect they couldn't prevent. It made my DNA unstable. They didn't know what it did but they wanted to test me and find out.

If you read the entirety of this post Thank You. This is the longest post I've ever made and my fingers went VROOM. I am very proud of myself lol.

If you're interested please include the following in your first message: Kinks and Limits, Age, an Example of your Writing Style, and your Timezone. This acts as a password so if you don't include this I'll ignore you.

This plot is going to be a bit of a fantasy, steampunk world. I haven't fully worked out the full world but its not sticking to one entire thing. I'll explain in more detail in chats.

This plot will be much more story than smut. About 70% story minimum.

I am 18+ and all participants and characters must be 18+
