Healing Itch?? [10G]

TL;DR: PA itching relief needed

My piercing is 6 weeks old. Recently, it started itching periodically, especially after a shower. I still have some lymph discharge, but it’s reduced a lot over the past couple weeks.

My issue now is this persistent itch at the piercing site. It switches between my foreskin itching, the piercing site itching, itching in my urethra or all three, so I assume it’s nerves just sending signals while healing. It’s driving me insane. I use cool sterile saline to relax the nerves, or I’ll sit spread eagle in front of a fan but those only relieve the itching for a few minutes.

There’s no burning during urination, no swelling or pain, no discoloration of skin, or discharge at the piercing site. Idk how to alleviate it. I have ample knowledge on wound care - but piercing care, especially for a PA - I’m lost.

Any advise would help!

Serious question

I usually wear a 6mm 2GA and took it out for a week or so while on holiday - just to avoid the constant security check issues getting on and off a cruise ship.

Today, I can't even get my original 3mm 8GA in!

I'm really shocked because I've had my piercing for over 30 years.

Has anyone had this issue and any tips for stretching up because I only have the 8GA and the 2GA.

One question: How do you stretch? If I put in something larger, it's no problem during the day when it's loose. At night, it sticks and it's very painful when I turn over. It used to be better, but now at 8 mm it hurts a lot.

i've been interested in getting a pa on and off for a while. recently i've gotten more excited of how it would look, how it would change my dick. does anyone who has a prince albert want to tell me about your experience?
