2 year anniversary today!
It’s been 2 years since my revision with Dr Read in 2024. Best decision ever. Can’t believe how the time has flown by.

It’s been 2 years since my revision with Dr Read in 2024. Best decision ever. Can’t believe how the time has flown by.
Last weekend I got a revision done, since I wanted to get rid of the previous cut. They did a terrible job in the hospital and it was time for a proper low & tight. Today I took the pressure bandage off and it was like opening a Christmas present: what a difference! 🥳
Hi!
Now I have circ low&tight with no frenulum. Ca. 5 mm on the top side and ca. 14 mm on the down side of penis (inner foreskin left). It is my second recut. Previously was high&loose. I don't remember if cut style change affected sex. I do not masturbate at all. Novadays my penis became super sensitive. It's hard to last 3 to 5 minutes in bed with my wife. Once i lasted 8 miuntes and was amazed! I'd like to last longed, and sometimes to f..ck harder, not only normal delicate slow sex. Sometimes my wife likes it faster and harder, but not always.
I'm thinking of ultra tight and ultra low (0-1 mm inner foreskin - doc said, that will try to do 0 mm). I like how it looks. But how will it work? Will it prolong sex? Will I be able to have delicate normal sex and orgasm or not? I'm courius but a bit worried. I don't want to bang my wife like a machine everytime to reach orgasm. That will destroy our sex drive.
Please give me some advice.
Thanks!
Hey everyone,
I thought I’d share a bit from my own experience and hope it can help someone.
So far I’ve had two procedures: one in 2022 at age 22 due to phimosis, and then a recut in 2023 because of an unsightly scar. Now I’m planning to have things tightened again by about 2.5 cm.
If you want to figure out how much more skin could be removed in a recut—or, if you’re uncircumcised, to see and get a feel for what it might be like—I’ve posted a guide in my profile explaining a taping technique for that.
Bandaging is essential for healing, especially during the first days and nights. I work in emergency medicine and EMS, so I wanted to share what I consider the best way to dress the penis.
I’ve done it exactly this way twice and had zero problems during healing.
This dressing doesn’t stick to the wound, minimizes swelling, protects against excessive sensitivity after a new circumcision, and—especially with tight cuts—is very comfortable because it reduces tension and pulling on the scar.
What you’ll need:
• Scissors
• Gauze pads (5×5 cm), sterile or non-sterile (sterile is preferable)
• Wound gauze (usually paraffin-coated)
• Cohesive bandage (e.g., Peha Haft Color), 6 cm wide (8 cm for longer penises)
First, gently clean the penis with a mucous membrane-safe disinfectant. You can soak a gauze pad and wrap it around for about 5 minutes.
Then dry the penis thoroughly.
Next, cut a strip of gauze about 2.5 cm wide and place it directly over the stitches and the incision line. Depending on thickness, you may need two strips. The gauze should wrap fully around the scar to prevent sticking to the compress.
Then unfold a gauze pad once and fold it lengthwise so you get roughly a 2.5 × 10 cm pad. Wrap this firmly over the gauze.
Finally, take the cohesive bandage. Wrap it fairly tightly, about 6 to 8 turns, covering up to the middle of the glans and also toward the base. Make sure that from the scar downward, at least 3–4 cm of the shaft is also covered.
Personally, I would apply this dressing immediately after surgery if the doctor or clinic hasn’t already done something similar—otherwise, start at the latest from day 1 post-op.
You can also position the penis upward toward the abdomen and secure it there with tape (as shown in the last picture). This also helps reduce swelling.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. And if you try it yourself, let me know how it went for you.
Best regards!
Hey everyone… since a lot of people have been asking, here’s a guide on how I use tape to simulate a recut (secondary circumcision) and tightness, so you can see and test how much skin could be removed to achieve a very low, very tight result.
What you’ll need:
• Scissors
• Ruler / set square
• Kinesiology tape or another type (stretchy works better; skin-colored isn’t necessary but looks more realistic in the mirror)
• Ballpoint pen / marker
First, you need two strips long enough to wrap around your flaccid penis without stretching. The width is crucial. For example, if you use a width of 1.25 cm, you’re simulating a reduction of 2.5 cm of shaft skin / inner foreskin. So basically: the strip should be half as wide as the amount of skin you want to simulate removing.
The second strip should be the same length and about 1.5 cm wide. This will be used to secure the folded skin later.
Now, apply the measured strip around the penis without any tension. It doesn’t matter if it’s closer to the glans or further down. If you don’t have much movable skin, place it closer to the glans—it’ll make the next step easier.
Next, measure double the strip’s width downward from the top edge of the tape and mark that point on the skin. In my case, that was 2.5 cm from the top edge of the “tapering.”
Now pull that marked point up to the top edge of the tape so that a kind of “pouch” forms. This simulates the new scar line. Once the marking is aligned with the top edge, take the second strip and wrap it around to secure everything.
This part is a bit tricky—you might need a few tries.
That’s it. You can now test it in different situations, including with an erection.
Start with something like 0.5 cm tape width (which simulates 1 cm tighter), then try 1 cm (2 cm tighter), and so on. For me, 1.5 cm (3 cm less skin) was too tight, so I settled on 1.25 cm. These finer adjustments are helpful once you get a feel for it.
For those considering an initial circumcision, this method also works—but I’d suggest starting with around 4–5 cm, since it’s easy to underestimate how much skin can actually be removed.
For a more complete experience, and especially for those preparing for their first circumcision or a recut, I’ve also posted a guide in my profile (for educational purposes) on how to properly dress the penis in the first days after surgery.
I’ve had two procedures so far: the initial one at 22, and a recut a year later. Another one is coming up soon. I’m actually looking forward to it—the “dress rehearsal” showed 2.5 cm, and the bandaging method works great.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Cheers!
