Down to compare, let’s whip em out

This is my first ever reddit post so please bear with me. So I (25M) just got out of a long relationship and even before the relationship I’ve always been very interested in the idea of cruising. Watching prn in that genre, visiting known locations where cruising supposedly happens, but I could never really get myself to a point of actually trying. During our open relationship I played with the idea of trying something quite regularly but again to nothing actually happening. Now since the breakup I got back to the life of living with roommates. I’m already working fulltime, but they’re a bit younger and still very much life of the party - and their bad decisions are starting to rub off on me in a way that now I want to make bad decisions too. Today I hung out with a friend and I figured I could use the bathroom before traveling home. So I went to a public bathroom near the bus station and I saw a guy standing at the urinoirs, looking up as I entered. It caught my attention but because of the lack of experience, I went into a stall and did my business. As I got out of the stall, I noticed him still standing there, by himself, and again he looked up. I made short eye contact and went to wash my hands, but as I walked there, I looked once more and thought I saw him having a hard situation going on. So I washed my hands, moved my stuff to a corner and made it a point to drink from my water bottle while looking at the urinoirs - where he was still standing. He occasionally looked up and at one point I just made the eye contact with him, he took it, and he flashed his indeed hard situation. I then got really nervous but also very very aroused, so I took my stuff to the urinoir next to him and started to ‘use it’. We eventually made eye contact next to each other and both approved of the situation by checking on each others side of the urinoir. When we were left alone again, because someone else entered in this time, I grabbed around the little separation and briefly did something with my hands to him (idk what’s censored or not, sorry) but someone else came in quite fast after that. I then packed up, tapped his arm and went into a stall without locking it. Unfortunately he didn’t take the hint, as when I got out of the stall again, he was gone.

Now, I’m very curious to hear your perspectives. How does this normally work? Do you go into a stall directly after something kinda minor like this happening? Do you stay where you are and wait for the people to leave again? What can or should I do different next time? Any and all advice is MUCH appreciated, I’m a giant rookie in this. 😂😭
