Lately, my friend has been calling me separately—outside of our usual friend group. At first, I didn't see anything wrong with that, simply because before we had this little group, it was just the two of us who were friends.

This morning, I got a text from him asking if I had a boyfriend. When I asked him why he was asking, he wouldn't tell me. (For context: we haven't actually hung out as a group in quite a while, there are three of us in this group including myself.)

Anyway, he eventually admitted that it was just because he was horny and was basically just asking on a whim.

We’ve been friends for so long I honestly never thought there was any sexual attraction? And now I find myself wondering, how long has he been thinking about me that way?
