I did some thermal imaging around the place with a kit I borrowed from my local library.

All of my windows are double glazed except the first one, and the room is noticeably colder because of it. The temperature difference is fairly significant. The other double glazed windows were sitting at similar temp.

I thought it would be interesting to share.

You can check for any leaks or cold spots indicating a lack of insulation with a thermal imaging camera, and maybe check with your library to see if they can loan a kit.
