[GM4A] Terminator: Timeline Gaia. History does not repeat, but it certainly tries to. Skynet and Judgement Day have been defeated, or so the Conner's think. Years pass and AI advances, now it seems the future they fear is closer than ever. After an 'incident' a man from the future arrives...

Timeline: Gaia
Date: July 8th, 2031
Location: Los Angeles, California.

“...It was stupid…You know that right?” John asked as he was finally let back into the cell across from his mother. Sarah was silent, watching John with the same tired blue eyes that had always followed him. Always watched over and protected him.

The eyes were…almost burnt out. And how could they not be, after everything she had been through. Still, her exhaustion could not stop John from letting out his annoyance at the now elderly woman.

“All of this…” He began.

“Stupid…And crazy and…” He began and sighed, shaking his head. He wasn’t sure what to think anymore. Life made sense back in South America, back in what they had called home after the insanity of 1997, after they got rid of Skynet.

Now it seemed it had made a return. The news called it “Ethical Warfare” and a “New Frontier for Mankind”.

They called it so many things but to John it just seemed foolish. Stupid. Crazy and reckless. They had ended it! They had accomplished their missions decades ago–Now it was back!?

They had returned to America in 2028–but plans take time…plans take time, but they sure do fall apart quite quickly.

It was almost like…

“....Was it on purpose?” John asked, looking at Sarah, who now finally had a smile on her face.

“...Jesus, Mom…” he sighed, wondering if there was some way that they could’ve left a breadcrumb trail for the future, for any potential time travelers, that didn’t involve getting arrested by the damn military!

It was a crazy plan–bold, but crazy. But better yet…would it work?

It was a question that John pondered. For minutes, then hours, in silence. It had to work, they were stuck now and–

The whole room would shake and John found himself falling forward onto the cell floor. Sarah meanwhile fell back and hit the wall.

Both groaned as they forced themselves back up. The guards of the facility rushed out to see what caused the shock but a series of shots echoed out and a figure made themselves known.

“Sarah Conner?” The figure asked. As they stepped into the light, Sarah gasped. She felt dizzy and for a moment she wondered if she had truly lost it. There, just outside her cell, was a face she hadn’t seen in decades.

“...Oh my God…Kyle?!”

So, I’ll be the first to admit…the scene above is a little confusing, but what time travel story is not confusing? XD

So, with the world being what it is, I’ve been getting into Post-Apocalyptic stuff again, Terminator especially.

As a bit of a passion project, I’ve begun to write a reboot of Terminator. One with new lore, and a brand new timeline. While fanfiction is great, I had the feeling this would be a good RP as well.

For those interested in exploring this new timeline, and fighting the new threats while having some smutty fun along the way, please read my kinks below and then reach out if your interested.

Hello there! My name is WritingKeepsMeSane and I've been working hard on a fantasy world of my own design: The Lands Of Neyev.

I've posted it elsewhere but most stories there are focused on the human element, this one is more focused on the various beast-folk/monsters of the continent.

I'm still ironing out the details, but I'd love for us to make something together. Whether it's the typical bad end, or a grander story.

In this world, the tech level and societal level is stuck in the bronze age...and much like the real-life bronze age it's a world where monsters are quite real to the average person. Whether it's demons or demi-Gods or beast-folk, they're all just outside the gates of the city-state waiting to be found, waiting to take what they desire.
