For clarification:

What I'm working on is a superhero team called the Justice Squad, who's main enemies are the world's ruling classes. Inspired by Wild Storm's the Authority, they seek to actually reform society instead of just keeping the status quo in-tact, are more than happy to kill to make it happen(mostly because their members have grown to outright despise the system) and they don't give a rat's ass what anyone has to say about it.

What they understand is that simply destroying the old systems and those in charge of it isn't enough, and that they must make a newer better system to ensure that people like the current powers that be can never rise again, or at least making their ascensions much harder. Some of the plans they have include having all material goods freely available for everybody at all times and doing like the Culture or Star Trek and getting rid of money, feeling that for a variety of reasons, it's done the world a lot more harm than good.

Of course, when superheroes decide to fix society, it's very easy to slip into scenarios such as Injustice Gods Among Us, but the Justice Squad very much wants to avoid such a scenario where they totally subjugate the world, following the Optimus Prime belief of freedom being the right of all living things(in fact, the team is led by somebody directly based on Optimus Prime), and most of the team had adopted a general disdain towards authority in general.

So, how would a superhero-run world look like in your books that doesn't involve enslaving the planet and executing everybody who breathes the wrong way, like the aforementioned Injustice?
