The Iowa Senate is set to debate the kratom ban bills on Monday (4/27). This is a critical moment, and we need to act now.
Whether you’re an Iowa resident or not, please take a few minutes to call and email Iowa Senators and share your story before the debate. You can even call the day of the debate early in the day.
I’ll post all Senator email addresses (comma-separated) in the comments so you can easily copy/paste them into BCC and send one email to all without it appearing as a mass email.
For calls, use the switchboard number below. Just mention which Senator you’re trying to reach and leave a short message (30–45 seconds). Use the email list to find the Senator's name.
What to say:
*Your name (and city + zip code if you’re an Iowa resident)
*Ask them to OPPOSE SF2192 and HF2133
*Ask them to support common-sense regulations like age limits, third-party lab testing, and proper labeling instead of prohibition

I was interviewed for this, and it shares my personal story about how 7oh and kratom have helped me, and why I oppose the Iowa kratom/7oh ban bills, along with similar efforts across the country.
This is the largest newspaper in Eastern Iowa, so I’m really hoping it reaches lawmakers and people who may not know much about kratom or 7oh, or why regulation makes far more sense than prohibition.
