We’ve just rolled out a new feature in r/AussieAfterDark — Custom Reporting.

This means when you report a post or comment, you can now add your own context instead of just selecting a rule.

💬 Why this matters

Not everything fits neatly into a checkbox.
Now you can tell us exactly what’s going on, like:

• Suspected fake or stolen content
• Someone pretending to be AU/NZ
• Low-effort or spammy posts slipping through
• Behaviour that feels off but doesn’t clearly break a rule

🛠 How it helps

This gives us better visibility so we can:

• Make faster, more accurate decisions
• Spot patterns (repeat offenders, spam tactics, etc.)
• Keep the sub focused on genuine Aussie & Kiwi content
