Can't Find Qtrade on Regulatory Body websites Like CIPF or CIRO. Can someone please help me prove it is a legit broker?

I am pretty sure Qtrade is a legit company. My father is a nervous-Nelly however and he wants me to prove to him that Qtrade is a legit company and not some kind of Ponzi scheme before he puts money into a new account. I tried looking up to see if Qtrade was on the CIPF website and all I see is that it was a past member: https://www.cipf.ca/member-directory/past-cipf-members
It looks like Qtrade's license was revoked on June 30 2018 (almost 6 years ago). I do not see Qtrade on the list of active members.
I also tried looking up Qtrade on CIRO (Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization) and I cannot see Qtrade on the list of active members. https://www.ciro.ca/office-investor/dealers-we-regulate
Am I doing something wrong? Can someone please help me find out some 3rd party government source that proves Qtrade is a legitimate company?
