altercation on Saturday

First off, apologies for a post with a negative vibe. BB is mostly great, mostly. But there are a few unsavory individuals.

I was threatened on Saturday a little before sunset near the trail. It was by the guy everyone is calling Jackie Tan. He called me a homeless drug addict and I should have ignored him but yelled back "At least I'm not a loser who touches himself on a public beach." A guy nearby burst out laughing and this humiliated him so he said "Come here and fight me!" He threw in some choice racial slurs. I raced up the trail and he isn't in shape to chase me up. I don't have a desire to interact with him again and I did get a picture of what I think is his grey Tesla's license plate. Do I wait till he tries to fight me and then file a police report or can I file a restraining order with just this? Last time I was threatened, I was able to file a police report but I had a full name.

He goes by "Roger" unsure if that is his real name. Has a large potbelly (not trying to bodyshame just describe.) He is tall, with thinning hair like a cop or military guy would have and wears "terminator" sunglasses. His ethnicity is some kind of Asian, IDK if he is Chinese, Korean or Japanese, not trying to be racist, just trying to describe him. He walks up and down the beach with two phones and is said to sneak pictures. He says he is a defense attorney in Rancho Cucomunga, unsure if this is true or not and I don't think an attorney would be day drinking and picking fights at a nudie beach but what do I know...

I shouldn't of let this bully egg me on but want to warn other that the public master baiters are not "harmless" creeps but very potentially dangerous. Just want to make this public record in case I get assaulted.

Is 7 minutes and 5 seconds a good time for the trail?

no stopping, very brisk pace but not running...
