[F4M] An Omega is nothing without their Alpha (omegaverse/long-term/literate)
A coming out party meant something entirely different when almost every male in your family was born an alpha and your family was unimaginably wealthy. It was also just as different when your parents discovered you were an omega. A quick trip to the doctor, suppressants prescribed, suppressants taken daily, and life would go back to normal. No one was the wiser of the fact that you were the perfect match and broodmare for some alpha wandering around the world. So long as your prescription was taken every day you could just be a normal girl like every other beta walking the street.
It wasn’t any different for Sally. Her whole life had been uncomplicated and normal until now. She’d even been permitted to finish university by her parents, who didn’t want her to lean on the alpha’s around her for survival, like so many omegas did. Sally, like her mother before her, was blessed with the omega gene and knew she’d always been taken care of, but it certainly came with its own complications. Barely in control of her own body, if she forgot to take her medication, the reaction was like sitting in a slow boiling pot, and before she knew it, it was too late and she cooked. She could still recall that one, horrific, day when she had finals years ago, as a Freshman. Sally had rushed to class, forgetting to take her pill and barely shoveling a pastry into her mouth for breakfast. By the middle of the test, two of her classmates and her professor were staring her down— her pheromones must have been screaming at them because she could smell them as well. The near stranger had been so sweet and alluring. Her hands had been shaking, barely able to make eye contact with them as she felt the slick fluid between her legs urging her to approach one of them and submit.
Sally had run from the lecture hall with her face red, after the professor told her ’go to the student health center and come back’, but not without undressing her with his eyes as she’d gone. Coming back to the lecture hall hadn’t been easy, her face was still plastered with embarrassment but at least she didn’t smell like walking sex anymore to the few alphas who had happened to be there. A quick shower, a change of clothes, and some medication had made her no different than any of the other female students. It didn’t stop them from knowing what she was now, it also hadn’t stopped rumors from spreading and everyone on campus finding out there was a new omega in the freshman class.
After her name, Sally Green, had landed on an alpha/omega gossip page for the university there was certainly no hiding it. Sally had spent most of her free time at university avoiding propositions from alphas, hiding in her room to study and only ever going to class or the library to check out books. Her sorority house had been a safe haven for her with the few other omega’s on campus also hiding in the massive colonial house. The normal beta sisters had looked at them with pity, jealousy, or disgust. It had been a lot to handle and made Sally second guess her choice to finish school daily. Those years had felt treacherous to someone so young and sheltered.
There was no doubt in Sally’s mind that the very same professor may very well be at the party that night, and perhaps one of the boys who’d stared at her like a medium rare steak all those years ago. Alpha’s who had the means would pay good money to get a chance to scent if someone from Sally’s family was their mate, and that is just what they did. Sally hadn’t looked at the guest list but her mother had seemed so stupidly happy the last few weeks as RSVPs rolled in from all the other important families and other hopefuls.
In her party dress, waiting, Sally cupped her head in her hand’s slouched over the vanity. Hazel eyes glared at the near empty bottle of pills. She hadn’t taken them today and had consequently hidden in her room. She knew the smell she emitted made her father and brothers uncomfortable and her room had been her only sanctuary all day. Surely they were just as uncomfortable as the smell they gave off made her. They didn’t ridicule her for it, but she saw the complicated feelings in their eyes and found it best to just avoid the breakfast table that day. That look had been more common in the days since she got home from university and started her job at her grandfather’s investment firm. The medication was losing its effectiveness as her body fought against it, demanding to be taken care of.
It simply wasn’t natural for an omega to avoid breeding for so long, and Sally was pushing into her mid-twenties now. She was made to be filled with cum and babies, not shuffling papers and calling clients downtown.
It’s time Sally, you’re old enough to find someone to properly meet your needs. The pill wont work as well the older you get, you know this, the doctors warned you. You need to be bred to feel better. Maybe if you’re lucky your perfect match will be there. You know that’s how I met Daddy. Her mother’s voice had been wistful, remembering her own coming out party at a shabby banquet hall on the ‘wrong’ side of town.
Sara had been younger than Sally was now, her family far more eager to reap the benefits of having an omega in the family. Guaranteed superior stock with a higher chance of an alpha or omega gene. And when alphas and omegas ruled the world? Who didn’t want that?
Sara had been incredibly lucky, marrying into such a family. She’d gone from a small apartment, were her unassuming beta parents had lived their whole married lives, to the right side of the tracks. Now Sally’s maternal grandparents wanted for nothing, moved into a guest house on the massive Green property, and taken in as one of their own. They had birthed greatness, the omega that belonged to the eldest alpha son of the Green family.
Her mother had been right about it ‘being time’ and she hated it. Sally had noticed at her new office job, not just at home, the looks she got from very select men. She knew what they were smelling, seeing, and imagining: likely dragging her into the supply closet, pushing up her pencil skirt, and knotting her until sanity returned to both of them. Sally was close to just letting them do it, and that was how she knew more than anything, that her mother was right— it was time. At least if such a thing occurred she wouldn’t get knocked up. That only happened with a mate. Her true alpha, like her father, was to her mother. Only a mate could get an omega pregnant.
Sally looked up to her parents. They were infinitely happy and she could only hope to have the kind of relationship they did one day. Finding one's mate was no guarantee to happiness though. They could hate each other and the prospect terrified Sally— being tied forever to a alpha, the only one who could give her children, merely because their genetics were perfect for each other.
The knock at the door startled Sally, and she turned her head to see her mother glide in. Elegant as ever in a black gown, her brown hair coiffed perfectly on top of her head. The matriarch sat on the edge of Sally’s bed near the vanity where Sally was pouting like a child. “It won't be so bad darling.” Sally couldn’t stand the sympathy in her mother’s eyes but she still sat up and listened. “You’ll find someone that smells delicious and you can help each other… and if you’re lucky…”
“I know, I could meet him.” Sally did her best to keep the venom out of her mouth. How could she admit that was what scared her the most? If she walked out into the party and smelled her mate, her life could very well be over. Her decisions from now on were his. His family was hers, and she would carry his children at his pleasure.
“Whatever happens we will support you Sally. You know your father wouldn’t let you just fall into a bad situation and just leave you there.” Sara seemed to understand the reason her daughter looked like she was going to be sick. They both knew there was only such much Sally’s parents could do though. The laws were firm. If Sally found her mate, he owned her, and Sally could only hope he wasn’t a complete monster.
With a hand on her daughter’s shoulder, squeezing gently. “Come darling.”
Sally had never felt so overwhelmed in her life when she’d walked into the east wing of the house. The door to her bedroom in a separate wing had kept her well away from the guests as they’d arrived and began to mingle with each other. Sally couldn’t even begin to imagine the kinds of discussions they were having when they all knew they were there for one reason: to hopefully get a chance to bed Clark Green’s daughter that night. Just maybe she would choose them and they’d get to share her bed at her pleasure until she found her mate.
Everyone knew this night was ending the same one way or the other when Sally walked into the room in that floor length soft blue gown. Even the shimmer of it reflecting the lights and mirrors on the walls wasn’t enough to distract Sally from the smells and feeling of every set of eyes on her. Even the wait staff with their trays of hors d'oeuvres stared at the young woman with a lecherous look in their eyes. Were they all imagining petite little Sally with her head pulled back by that gorgeous brown hair with their mouth at her neck while their cock was buried inside her? Most likely. That was except for the few women who were no less eager to see if their sons were a match to Clark and Sara’s only daughter. Their stares were at least less lecherous and leaned more towards hopefulness.
Sally knew her face must have soured in an instant, her cheeks flushed when she could smell it. He was here and it washed over her like a warm blanket. He smelled like winter-- cold air, pine, and mint. He was perfection, and she’d not even seen his face yet. It was so strong that it drowned everything else out in the room, a blessing. Fear struck her as her eyes sought out her mother’s who was holding her elbow as they walked further into the clutches of her future.
“Sally, darling, is anything wrong?” Sara’s brows drew together as they approached her father Clark, who was talking to one of Sally’s guests— a man she didn’t even know, like most of the men there. Eyes followed the two women as they moved— so did the smell. Did he smell her too? Was he following her? Would he save her from this awful night, or would she have to seek him out herself when the dancing started?
“Nothing.” Sally lied, quietly, and went to greet her father with a tepid smile.
Looking to play out an A/B/O storyline where alphas and omegas rule the world. I’m looking for this to be a long-term, detailed, story as our two characters get to know each other and deal with their new life as they’re thrown together.
I am open to Sally’s alpha being anyone you like, including close family members if you’re into incest. It would likely be someone she’d not spent a lot of time with recently if you decide to go the family route ( likely a cousin, uncle, or brother away at school, so forth ). Is he that professor? Her father’s best friend? One of her colleagues? A childhood friend? An arch nemesis/bully from High School? Is he excited because he’s waited for a mate for decades? Is he just as upset about this as Sally because he’s been with the same pleasure mate for years now?
I’m also open to this playing out several different ways. Is her new alpha domineering and controlling? Is he sweet and understanding? Tell me what you’d like. Tell me who your character is. Also please feel free to respond with RP immediately if the mood or inspiration strikes you. If you’d prefer to plan first that’s fine, but give me some ideas to chew on too.
